Our Mission

Our Mission is to improve student learning by supporting innovative teachers to implement amazing projects.

Teachers' Dream Grants range from $500 to $5,000 and are awarded to CCS teachers to assist in their attempts to improve teaching and learning in the CCS schools.  Teachers are rarely given the opportunity to develop meaningful, creative, innovative experience for their students along with necessary support to do it.

Since 2006 TDG has granted $50,000 each year.  As of 2019-2020 school year 169 teachers have been funded in 78 schools, all levels and subject areas.

Areas of innovation may include:

• Increasing Student Achievement/Academic Enrichment

• Closing Achievement Gaps

• Improving School/Community Relations

• Improving Classroom/School Learning Climate

• Improving critical/creative thinking skills for students

• Promoting social justice

• Other areas reflecting the needs of students in a teacher's particular school
